School is out and the Summer Holidays are upon us!
For family fun this summer, our 9 hole Minigolf course is always a hit with the kids! With ramps, bridges, windmills and wells to negotiate with our emoji golf balls, all at a bargain price of £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for children. This means a family of 4 can play for just £12, complete with your own score card, what’s not to love? Pop into Tudor Rose Antiques for your club hire (£5 returnable deposit).
We also have our wooden play area next to the Minigolf to allow the children to use up some of that energy. Pretend the floor is lava, how far can they get without touching the ground?
Around the centre, we have a wide range of shops, where you can find all sorts of treats and gifts. There are plastic free sweets and goodies available at Naturally Unwrapped; bring your own container to fill or use one from their selection. Also check out the range of activity books on offer at Instep Dancewear to keep the family quiet when you get home too!
A Rock Hunt around the centre has been set up by Artisans Hub; there are 20 painted rocks hidden around our shops, so make sure you start by collecting your sheet from Artisans Hub, pop down the number of each rock as you find them and you can take your completed sheet back to claim a small prize at the end! They also have some really lovely high quality, handmade products made by local artisans, so make sure you have a good look around whilst you’re there!
Finally, make sure you finish off with a treat from the Sconch Tea Rooms. Enjoy a tasty lunch or just an ice cream. There is always a great selection of fresh, homemade cake (with food allergies all catered for, just ask) and a fabulous selection of drinks for both children and grown ups!
Also starting from 22nd July, the Sconch Tea Rooms are also starting a fortnightly Friday night ‘Family and Friends Games Night’ from 6pm. Book your table, bring your favourite games, or try out the Giant Jenga outside and enjoy some amazing food.
